We are currently seeking the following skilled tradespeople:

  • Paring back the rebate on a traditionally constructed Teak veneered cabinet door using trusted traditional hand tools. Plantation Teak being utilised as a sustainably resourced option.

    Furniture Maker

    We are looking for Furniture Makers to join our friendly and expanding team in North Norfolk

    Experience and Qualifications:

    The successful candidates must have prior proven experience in cabinet making, wood machining and some veneering for the Cabinet shop position, plus the ability to work to exacting standards.

    Desirable qualities would include:

    • A keen eye for, and attention to detail

    • The ability to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team

    • The ability to prioritise workloads

    • Good organisational skills

    • Enthusiasm, commitment, and the ability to respond positively to changing demands

    The position is full-time (40-hour week), working on a 4-day shift pattern Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:30 based in our Norfolk workshops.

    Some sitework and associated travel may be required from time to time.

    Project Engineer

    We are currently recruiting for new members in an expanding technical team to support growing order book for both yacht and residential projects.

    Job Description:

    The successful candidate will be a valued member of our team responsible for the preliminary and production design works for high end residential projects on a global scale, as well as sailing and motor yacht interiors ranging from 30 to 100m.

    Duties:

    • Working with Designers to generate production drawings for joinery packages.

    • Creation of interior layouts to designer requirements.

    • Creation of production drawings and CNC packages.

    • Creating material cutting lists

    • Liaising with other trades to resolve space and routing conflicts.

    • Liaison with the production lead hands regarding the handover of drawings for the build process.

    Skills and experience required:

    Essential:

    • Microsoft Office Suite

    • Knowledge of joinery and furniture manufacture

    • Autocad 2D

    • Knowledge of 3D modelling.

    Desirable:

    • Familiar with CNC programming

    • Autodesk Inventor

    • Rhino

    The applicant should be able to work with minimal supervision, have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Industry experience desirable but not essential.

    Professional Furniture Finisher

    We are looking for a professional, experienced Furniture Finisher to join our friendly and expanding team in North Norfolk, catering for the high end private residential and superyacht markets.

    Experience and Qualifications

    The successful candidate must have at least 7 years prior experience in modern and traditional finishing / polishing techniques.

    Desirable qualities would include:

    • A keen eye for detail

    • The ability to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team

    • The ability to prioritise workloads

    • Good organisational skills

    • Enthusiasm, commitment, and the ability to respond positively to changing demands

    Key responsibilities:

    • Typical duties to include spraying (paint and lacquer), hand finishing, flatting and polishing, tinting and staining

    The position is full-time (40-hour week), working on a 4-day shift pattern Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:30 based in our Norfolk workshops with the opportunity to progress within the organisation for the right candidate.

    Some sitework and travel associated may be required from time to time.

    Rates of Pay: £14.50 with enhanced overtime rate when applicable

    Experienced Furniture Finisher

    We are looking for an experienced Furniture Finisher to join our friendly and expanding team in North Norfolk, catering for the high end private residential and superyacht markets.

    Experience and Qualifications

    The successful candidate must have at least 3 years prior experience in modern and traditional finishing / polishing techniques and have a keen eye for detail.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Typical duties to include hand finishing, flatting and polishing, tinting, staining, and spraying

    • The candidate must have spraying experience in base coating, priming etc. Further in-house training will be provided for career progression

    The position is full-time (40-hour week), working on a 4-day shift pattern Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:30 based in our Norfolk workshops with the opportunity to progress within the organisation for the right candidate.
